- Has attracted nearly $3 million in competitive research grants, including six Australian Research Council large grants, five ARC small grants, an ARC SPIRT grant
- Research interests include University governance and management, research management, diversification of higher education institutions and systems, institutional amalgamations, organisational change and comparative HE system
